Your wedding day is probably the most important day of your life so you need to be sure that your official wedding photographers will safely capture the day for you. We have all the experience, all the right equipment and safety measures in place to ensure that nothing goes wrong, so with us, you can relax knowing that your wedding photos are in safe hands.
Firstly, experience is everything. Over the past 12 years, we have photographed many weddings at different types of venues in all conditions. Our wealth of experience means that on the day, we are in the right place at the right time ready to capture all the action. We have photographed weddings in all weather conditions – bright sunshine, deep snow, heavy rain and blustery winds. If we are unable to use the weather to our advantage our experience means that we are able to suggest alternatives.
If we are booked for a wedding at a new venue for us, we will visit the location before the wedding. If we are starting our day photographing the bridal preparations at home, we will often do a ‘dummy run’ before the day to test the route from the bride’s house to the venue.
We have chosen to use top-end, professional Canon equipment for their reliabilty and image quality.

We use full frame Canon 5D digital cameras combined with a selection of professional EF “L” series lenses, plus a pair Speedlite 580EXII flashguns when natural lighting needs a helping hand.
And of course, bringing two of everything means that in the highly unlikely event that something fails we have a back-up piece of kit.
On the wedding day, our images are saved onto compact flash cards which are regularly changed throughout the day. Once the shoot is over, the images are backed up onto two separate hard drives with one copy saved off-site. As a further back-up – to be double, double sure – we write all your final wedding jpegs onto DVD.
As you would expect, we hold full public liability insurance and professional indemnity insurance. We’re pleased to say that we have never had to make a claim.
