Most of the pre-wed shoots we do take place in parks and gardens, so it made a real change for us when Ruth & Keith wanted to have their photo session at the Chelmsford Sea Cadets.
The Sea Cadets have been at their current site in Chelmsford city centre for 74 years but will shortly be moving to Sandford Mill. Keith is heavily involved with the Sea Cadets so it was important to them to have their shoot at the city centre location during it’s last days.
After a few photographs of them both on the jetty and river side - with Keith in full uniform - we then put our life jackets on and ventured out onto the River Chelmer.
It was then back on dry land, a quick change of clothes, and then more shots of them both. As you can see from the photographs, their bright personalities shine through, as does their love for one another.
We’re really excited to be capturing their wedding in a few weeks time, but here are some of our favourites from their pre-wed shoot with us...
